Insurance Rates
Medical Massage rates are based on analysis of both usual, customary, and reasonable (UCR) charges for the North Carolina area and of Relative Value Units (RVU) pricing. All therapies are billed to your insurance in Units. A Unit is a fifteen-minute block of time. For example a one-hour appointment would be equal to 4 Units. Fees paid by your insurance provider are based on codes used by the insurance industry for specific therapies. Fees for these codes may vary from company to company and policy to policy.
